I have searched for two days for the name of the Verizon Online LDAP Server
so that I can import my address book from Verizon Online into Outlook. I
contacted Verizon and they said that this was not possible. Why is there a
semi-wizard in Outlook for connecting to an LDAP server if I cannot import my
addresses this way?

Does Verizon expose their LDAP server to the internet? BTW, you wouldn't
actually import it, you'd connect to it live as another acct.

Fine. So you do not import it. How do you connect to the Verizon LDAP?
What is its name??? I need to connect to it to get my address book! It does
not matter the manner (import, export, live connection, etc.) in which I get
it. Please help me get my contacts.

So, when Verizon says it is not possible, why are you asking a non-Verizon forum how to do it?

Look at the Verizon forums to see if anyone has successfully connected to a Verizon LDAP server from a third party program like Outlook.

Do they expose the LDAP server to the internet? If not, you can't connect to
it. If you don't know, ask Verizon.
