Deleting an Outlook Express window titled (I think) 'Error'

This window appeared on my friend's computer recently with a 6 short mesages
saying Verizon (his ISP) could not send his outgoing email messages. This
turned out to be caused by a comma unintentionally put in an address where a
period should have been. Once this was corrected, Verizon was able to send
his emails on their way.

He uses Outlook Express and XP.

However, since we corrected that problem he now gets, every time he calls up
Outlook Express, a screen called "Error" if my memory serves showing that
these 6 messages were undeliverable and very generally or vaguely saying why.

I can close this screen by clicking on the X; that puts some cute little
icon down in the taskbar area.

But my friend really wishes the screen did not pop up every time he calls up
Outlook Express.

A reasonable desire, but I could find no way to delete the 6 notifications
of failure to send the emails. Is there a way to delete them or better yet,
a way to stop this screen from even appearing?

Without copying/pasting the "exact and complete" text of the error message,
along with some other basic info such as operating system in use, version of
Outlook Express as shown in the Help/About screen for that program, it's
hard to offer any help. What you are asking with such minimal information
is some "crystal ball" gazing, and that's not really very useful. Please
get more info and post back.

Delete the messages from the Outbox.

Outlook express 6 deleting problem I've tried to delete some emails in my "sent Items" folder but keep getting an error message. I've also tried to move the emails to a different folder but get the same error message. Any clues? Also, how can I repair Outlook Express 6 to see if that solve
