An e-mail I got had an attachment. I had to pick
a program to open it.I forgot to uncheck the alw
ays use box, and the program [QUICKTIME]won't work.
How do I find the "always use " dialog box to
uncheck it and select another program?

Just Shift+Right click on a file of the type you wanted to open, select Open
With vs. Open and choose again a program, and again click the "Always Use"
dialog. That will over ride the earlier setting.

You can rest/change the default file association with these simple steps:

1.Single-click a file.
2.Hold the Shift key while right-clicking the file.
3.Select "Open With..."
4.Select a program.
5.Place a checkmark next to "Always use this program to open this type of file"
if you want to permanently change its file association. Otherwise,
this will be a one-time solution.
Click OK.

The shift rt click is a neat trick which I have many times
wanted to know. How do you find these things out?
