Can I use VBA to read the Options > Other > "Empty the Deleted Items folder upon exiting" setting?

It's stored in the registry, for OL 03 it is in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Preferences

EmptyTrash=1: Delete
EmptyTrash=0: Don't
