I cannot open OE, and therefore cannot use the *.WAB. I've tried running a
'Find' using the WAB, but still can't access it. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for the effort...

Lost several applications (corrupt Registry?) Lost at least one file. Real
data loss, perhaps resulting from a messed up FAT? Perhaps the user should
stop using the machine and perform some formal data recovery operations? NOT
SCANDISK!!!

You don't have to open OE to use the WAB.

Did you find the WAB file? If so, what happens when you double click
it?

Do you have the WAB.EXE program which is used to WAB file?

You can always copy the WAB file to another Windows PC to open it. Or
once you repair the existing PC (reinstall Windows) the WAB file will be
useable.
