Hello, I have a client who is printing emails from Outlook 2003. On
large documents (20 pages or so and more), every two or three pages
print out with lines coming down the left side. Sometimes there are
two, sometimes there are up to 5 solid black lines. I've swapped out
printers (HP Laserjet 2420) and tried updating print drivers. I've
been able to print from Word and other programs with no problems, so I
figured it was an Outlook issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Sounds like the messages he's printing are HTML and contain replies. The
replies are designated by the solid line, one for each reply level.

Hi, I'm afraid the lines don't look like reply lines. He gave me an
example and I scanned it and uploaded it...mind taking a look?

it's at: http://www.ldodero.com/ken/ken.jpg

Thank you.

They look exactly like reply lines to me. Notice how each new level starts
at the "Original Message" line of an included reply?

Should they be covering the first letter of each sentence though? It
seems like they're off to me.
