outlook 2003 SP3 and Notes Connector

The incompatibility in SP3 and the connector is well documented online, but
there does not appear to be any solution but uninstalling the hotfixes/SP.
On my corporate machine I obviously don't have the option of doing that ...
so has anyone gotten the Notes Connector and SP3 to coexist?
