I need to be able to send email for 4 people in their names. When I created
accounts for each one, I received all their email correspondence for the
past 6 months! I deleted the mail. Then I adjusted Send/Receive settings to
Send only. The server started sending their email! So, was I on the right
track? is there a way to setup each account for send only without server
trying to send old mail? Thanks.

Yes, that is the way. What do you mean with sending old mail? You mean
receive old mail? You've already answered that yourself.

Thank you for responding. To be honest I don't know what was happening. I
deleted the 165 emails that I received after setting up the accounts. As I
mentioned this was stuff from the past 6 months. After I adjusted the
Send/Receive settings, I was sending a message and noticed that it was
sitting in the outbox for a long time. The Send/Receive notification (bottom
right screen) was active. When I clicked on details, it showed mail being
sent from the 4 new accounts! I never saw what was being sent, but assumed
it was sending "old" mail. I really don't know what was being sent nor where
it was going. That's when I removed them and decided to verify my procedures
through this forum.

I think I figured it out. When I adjusted send/receive in the individual
accounts, I did not turn off All Accounts. Thanks for your ear.
