Why do the paper clips indicating an attachment keep coming up beside every
email even when there are not attachments. Hopefully it is o/e 5.5 it is on a
windows 98 computer.

Disable AVG Anti-Virus's Email Protection.

Margie, IE6 SP1 (and with it, OE6) is considered a Critical Update for Win98
