Have been having trouble for some time now sending emails using OE 6.
When trying to send, error notification screen comes up with heading "Some
errors occured while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list
of errors below for more details."

The page below the heading tabbed for errors is blank however. There is no
error message. The email gets stuck in the outbox and the error notification
comes up each time OE tries to send the email. The emails actually go
through to the intended recipients but the message stays in the outbox
instead of going into the sent box. OE will continue to send the email
unless I delete it from the outbox.

Problem first starting happening only on emails with attachments.
Later started happening on all emails.

Have tried deleting the outbox.dbx with no luck.

Have tried compacting but get an error message that says something like file
in use by Outlook. Click OK and then seems to go on to next file and
finishes. Still same problem after this, even after restarting system and
trying again.

My brother has activated a new user and set up email with OE and he doesn't
have this problem.

My Inbox has become rediculously full as too much trouble to send emails now.

Can anyone help me?

I had one stuck in Drafts and did the following. Go to Start and click on
Computer then click on System Properties; look for system type to see if you
have 32 or 64 bit operating system. Then go to Microsoft and download
upgrades to the system you have. When you get to the upgrades follow
instructions and be sure to disable the EMail virus protection as instructed.
When the upgrades have been installed your stuck message should go away, it
did for me.
