Yesterday, I intended to send a photo from a file to someone, but I
inadvertently checked the entire file (which was very large). I immediately
hit stop, but I forgot that the message was stored in my outbox which I also
forgot was configured to empty upon signing on. Because the attatchment is
so large, every time I log on to OE, it tries to send this enormous file and
then everything crashes. How can I change the option that sends messages in
the outbox when I first open OE?

Try this, open IE (Internet Explorer)>file menu>work offline>Open OE>refuse
to go online>delete the mail from your outbox.
tools>options>general>disable the option to send at start up, Go back on
line.

Close OE and use Search for Outbox.dbx; you will have to set Search to
include hidden files and folders. Delete or move Outbox.dbx and then reopen
OE. It will create a new Outbox.dbx that is empty.
