All of a sudden, when I receive my e-mail in Outlook Express, the messge body
is blank...only header info appears. When I try to create a new message, I
can enter the To: From: & Subject Info but when I try to tab to the message
body, I can't.

In Outlook 2003, I get the message bodies and can create new messages but
they only go to the Outbox and stay there. I tried hitting Send & Receive
and it seems to get stuck and then fails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

regarding the Outlook Express problem, see:
If you haven't already done it, shutdown and restart Windows. This
sometimes fixes the problem.
- If you still have a problem then try Start, Run and enter:
regsvr32 inetcomm.dll
- If that doesn't help, then see if the fix in this article applies:
OLEXP: Message Appears Blank and Has an ATT000XX.txt or ATT000XX.htm
Attachment
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=312351
- If that doesn't help, then in Internet Explorer, select View,
Encoding and uncheck Auto-Select and choose instead "Western European
(ISO)". Then try reading your messages.

Thanks! You are a genius. the "regsvr32 inetcomm.dll" fixed it. What
caused the problem to begin with?

It is suspected that some spyware/malware has screwed up related
registry settings. As far as I know, no specific program has been
identified.

The regsvr32 command resets some registry settings to their factory
defaults.

If you haven't already, you may want to scan your system for malware.
