Outlook Look Alike

We are currently developing software that integrates with Outlook and in
particular the calendar. Our software which has not been released looks like
Outlook in particular the left hand navigation bars and tree view.

What is Microsoft's position on the above and is there documentation
outlining the requirements?

Speak to your local Microsoft representative. We're just other users of
Outlook. Most of us would have no access to that type of information.
