I have set up repeatedly what I think are proper mail rules, mainly to direct
incoming mail from the inbox to other folders.

They do not execute.

Here is one of those rules: (tried to copy a snagged window. That does not
work here.)
Rules & Alerts window, lower box:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
from ASME (*@*asme.org)
move it to the ASME & ANS folder

Just started from running Outlook with 'cleanrules' switch, no success.

Running Office 2007, Win Vista Ultimate, straight forward Pop3/smtp accounts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Outlook's rules do not support or recognize wildcard characters, so your
rule will never match anything. Make your string "asme.org" instead and be
sure to add the "stop processing more rules" action.
