Sent messages cannot display pictures

E-mails sent with picture(s) pasted into mail messages do not display the
pictures when viewed in the sent items folder. Pictures show up as
rectangular boxes with a small picture with a red cross. However, this user
can view pictures in mail messages in inbox and any other folders. Outlook
2003 with Word 2003 as the e-mail editor. Any thoughts? thanks.
