Spell check UK/USA

I have selected UK English as my language but the spell checker always offers
US alternatives e.g. "Color" when I have typed "Colour". This problem has
only occured since I switched from Windows 98 to Vista. How do I get it to
recognise UK English?

This is for Live Mail, YMMV in the as-supplied rubbish.

If you're looking for British English spell checking (so colour is
accepted but color gets a wiggly red line),

open spell.ini (in %programfiles%/Windows Live/Mail/Proof/prf0009/2)
and change lang=1033 to lang=2057

To clarify, in order to use the fix mentioned below, the OP
will need to upgrade to Windows Live Mail first.

Spell check When I want to spell check my emails before sending "This language is no longer available for spell checking. Please select another in the spelling options dialog." turns up on my screen. What do I need to do so I can utilize spell check?????!!! THanks,
