Stopping Outlook from closing/shutdown

I'm writing Outlook COM Addin in VC++. I want user to give an option
if he "really" wants to close Outlook while my addin is doing some
processing. Is there a way to do it? Something like in OnItemSend we
can specify cancel.

There's no supported method for that.

Outlook crashes during shutdown after running operation I have a COM addin (VB6), that had run without error until recently. When the following code is run, the microsoft error reporting window comes up when outlook is closing after the and after the events. Private Sub ExecuteBu
