Hello,

I have to configure an http mailbox on an Outlook 2007 (like Hotmail). I
want to move the data file from the system partition to the data partition.
To do such a thing on XP it was easy, you just had to set it up on "courrier"
in the control panel.

On Vista i can't find the same utility to set up the data file folder place.
By default when you create a http connexion, it create a new data file ni the
user profile folder. Wich is independant of the default data file.

Any idea ?

I believe the ability to move the Hotmail PST was removed from Outlook 2007.

Well, what a great news !!! One more reason to upgrade to Vista... Anyway, i
know it's not right place for this question, but i wonder if it's possible to
totally move the folder of users profiles...
I mean in W2Kx, it's c:\documents and settings\, and on Vista
c:\users\documents and settings\...
Can i move them to another partition, and how ?

thanqs for your answer anyway Smile

I would like to precise that i don't want to use roaming profile (furthermore
i can't it's not in a domain). And folder redirection won't work cause you
can only redirect My documents and / or Desktop.

There's no "documents and settings" on Vista. C:\Users taks the place of
C:\Documents and Settings.

Ask in a Vista newsgroup.
