missing attachments

I use outlook express 6.

I no longer receive the Word attachments sent to me by one of my students.
My ISP is Virgin. How do I correct this?

I can see the attachments when he sends the email to my hotmail account.

Then you've posted to the wrong newsgroup, this is for Macintosh Outlook
Express. I've crossposted and set followups to the correct location.

It might be he is sending from outlook in html rather than outlook
express.
Outlook screws up that sort of attachment, get him to send in plain
text.
