outlook express update

outlook express was automatically updated overnight. when i opened it today,
it was as if opening for the 1st time. all settings, messages, folders, etc.
are gone. how do i get them back?

Windows version?

OE version? (In Help/About, scroll down to msoe.dll. What numbers do you
see?).

What update? Check in Add/Remove for the update number. AFAIK, no OE updates
have been released in quite some time.

In File | Identities | Manage Identities, do you see more than you had
before?

Outlook Express Update I use Outlook Express version 040803-2158). XP PRO SERVICE PACK 2 SBCGOLBAL.NET has changed their settings to using (on the advanced mode) to have “This server requires a secure connection SSL checked and the ports to SMP
