Problems sending Yahoo email from Outlook 2007? (Long delays

With Outlook 07 + POP Yahoo mail, I am experiencing long delays (4-15 hrs)
before my Sent messages are received. No problem Receiving my Yahoo mail in
Outlook, and no problem with Internet access. I've tried all the Outlook
account configuration instructions and recommendations from MS Support, with
no success. The problem seems to be with the outgoing Yahoo mail server.
Anyone else experiencing the problem?

Examine the messages on the Yahoo server and see if the delay happens there
before Outlook downloads the messages. If so, the problem is outside of
your ability to affect.
