Create a New Email Address in Outlook

  1. Open Outlook on your computer.
  2. Click on the File tab in the top left corner.
  3. Select Account Settings and then Account Settings again.
  4. In the Email tab, click on the New button.
  5. Enter your name and desired email address in the provided fields.
  6. Select the type of account you want to create.
  7. Enter the server and port information for the account.
  8. Enter the username and password for the account.
  9. Click the More Settings button.
  10. Select the Outgoing Server tab.
  11. Check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  12. Select the Advanced tab.
  13. Enter the incoming and outgoing server port numbers.
  14. Click OK.
  15. Click the Test Account Settings button to ensure everything is set up correctly.
  16. Once the test is successful, click the Close button.
  17. Click the Next button to finish the setup.
