Outlook can send duplicate emails if the message was sent using the “Send/Receive” function, if the email was forwarded multiple times, if there are multiple rules set up to forward or copy the message to other people, or if the recipient has multiple email addresses that are linked together. It can also happen if the recipient’s email server is not properly configured to prevent duplicate emails from being sent.
